Dana Brown | World Languages (Spanish)
I began my teaching career in 2004 after graduating from Penn State University, where I majored in Spanish and Education. I have always loved working with people and was inspired by my father who was also a teacher and principal.
During my time at Penn State I was able to study abroad in Mexico, where I lived with a Mexican family and attended classes to improve my language proficiency. I also have traveled to various Spanish speaking countries. My passion for learning languages began when I was a student in the Cheltenham School District and I love being able to introduce my own students to the culture and language.
Before joining the Cheltenham community in 2013 I worked in various educational settings such as The Woodlynde Private School, where I helped students with learning differences, the Bucks County Technical High School, and in the Bensalem School District, where I piloted a 3rd-grade immersion program. I am so happy that I was able to return to teach in Cheltenham as an alumna and enjoy building relationships each day with my students and working alongside the staff here.
