I am a second career nurse and have been a nurse for 10 years. I have had the pleasure of spending the last 4 of those years working in a school setting. After obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, I fell in love with school nursing. I then began my Certification for School Nursing at Slippery Rock University. I am currently at the end of my Masters in Nursing degree which I will complete in August 2019. My goal as a Certified School Nurse is to support education by promoting the health and wellness of our students so that they may have every opportunity to achieve academic success.
I will be married for 30 years this November to my husband, Bennet. We have 4 grown children and 2 dogs.
