Dear Parent(s),

In the spirit of “going green,” Choir sign-ups are online. If your child is interested please go to the following link. Submission of this form will be considered your permission for your child to participate.

Elkins Park Choir Sign-up Form

For those who are new to EP, here is the outline of our vocal music program:       

Choir: Mondays 7:25am in auditorium- 1st rehearsal: Oct. 24

• Open to all students that sign up
• No auditions necessary

Vocal Ensemble 5 (VE5): Thursdays 7:25am in 216-1st rehearsal: Oct. 13

•         A smaller, more select group of 5th grade singers

• Must also attend all choir rehearsals
• All students who sign up will have to audition for Mr. Kwas

Vocal Ensemble 6 (VE6): Wednesdays 7:25am in 216-1st rehearsal: Oct. 5

•         A smaller, more select group of 6th grade singers

• Students that were NOT in VE5 last year need to audition for Mr. Kwas before joining VE6.
• Must also attend all choir rehearsals.

Generally, parents are responsible for getting their child to before-school activities, however, there is one bus that takes students from CHS to EP.  Students can be dropped off at the front of CHS (near the flagpole) and take bus 756 to EP for any before-school rehearsals. The bus will be in this location from approximately 7:10am until it leaves for EP at 7:20.

I am very excited to have our 6th graders return this year and can’t wait to hear all of the new 5th graders!
