ATTENTION AP STUDENTS FOR 2019-2020
There are 2 changes to the AP test registration and payment structure of which we wanted you to be aware. If you have any questions, please reach out to your student's counselor.
- Cheltenham High School will pay for the FIRST exam for every student. Additional exams are at the family's expense. If the school pays for an exam and the student does not take it, the student will incur a processing fee, set by College Board. If a student is on free/reduced lunch, there is a significant discount. Students on free/reduced lunch should contact their counselor at the time of AP Test registration.
- The College Board has announced significant changes to the AP exam ordering process, deadlines, late fees, and cancellation fees, that will be mandated for all schools and all students in the 2019-2020 school year. ALL students will decide whether or not to take exams and order their exams by early fall. All students in AP classes who register after the set deadline will be assessed $40.00/exam late fee. In addition, a $40.00/exam cancellation fee will be assessed for any exam order canceled after the deadline.
