NHS seeks to promote scholarship and excellence among the students of CHS. NHS members participate in community service projects collectively and individually. The NHS also provides a tutoring program for CHS students in need of extra help with academics. The NHS officers organize several activities for the NHS members over the course of the year in order to promote community service, intellectual stimulation and social interaction. Students who have unweighted GPAs of at least 3.4 are invited to apply for membership in NHS. Applicants are evaluated based on their demonstration of Scholarship, Leadership, Character and Service.

    Attention:

This year, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have unweighted cumulative GPAs of at least 3.4 are invited to apply for membership in NHS. Applications are due on Nov 2, 2020. Please use the updated NHS Application link on the right side of this page. You will submit your application using a Google form, and your club/sports/activity sponsors will submit Google forms that you provide to them. Please carefully follow the instructions that are within the application.

You need to complete ten service hours per each semester. Do you have enough? You can keep track under "Related Files" to the right. To update your amount, please complete the google doc linked to the right. Before you know it, the semester will be over, so get those hours in!
