The Mathematics Department at Cheltenham High School provides a rigorous and thorough program of study designed to stimulate students intellectually and prepare them for 21^st century careers. Our numerous course offerings provide for the needs of students of all aptitudes and interest levels, and allow interested students to pursue high levels of Mathematical study.

Our program provides all students with a common foundation of challenging mathematics while addressing their individual mathematical needs through several types of differentiated support. Students are provided with classroom experiences that draw from both real-world applications and pure abstract mathematical contexts. A variety of modes of technology are used to enhance understanding and appreciation of mathematics. Students work cooperatively and individually, using appropriate tools to explore and master relevant and interesting mathematical ideas.

Our Honors Mathematics program provides exceptional students with the opportunity to study Advanced Placement Calculus and beyond.
