The Facilities Committee meets on the first Tuesday of every month (except July). At the Facilities Committee meetings, two board members who have been appointed co-chairs of the committee lead the meeting. The meeting ordinarily provides information on a topic of interest which is generated in collaboration with the committee co-chairs. With co-chair David Cohen presiding, the Facilities Committee convened on Tuesday, May 5 in a Zoom seminar room, which allowed the public to view the meeting and submit questions in real-time. The agenda included updates on facilities maintenance, facilities condition assessment report and SchoolDude. Committee members were briefed about the facilities condition assessment, which was recently completed in the district’s 5-12 buildings. More information from the report will be delivered in the next committee meeting, Tuesday, June 2.
