  • Wyncote Character Parade

    The rain couldn’t dampen any spirits (or ghouls, ninjas or dinosaurs either, for that matter) at Thursday’s Character Parade at Wyncote Elementary. Students from every grade paraded around the Wyncote hallways in their Halloween costumes while parents lined the walls and cheered and took pictures. Many students dressed as characters from their favorite books like “Big Nate in a Class by Himself” and “Judy Moody Saves the World” and carried those books with them during the parade.   • Unified Student-Athletes to Serve as Honorary Football Captains

    Unified Track and Field student-athlete Olivia Daniels served as the honorary captain at this past Friday’s football game between the CHS Panthers and Quakertown Community High School Panthers. As the first honorary captain for this new tradition, Daniels entered the field alongside CHS Panthers, was introduced to the fans, facilitated the coin toss and enjoyed the game in her commemorative t-shirt from a special viewing area.
