  • CSD Superintendent, Grads, and Educator Receive Cheltenham NAACP Area Branch Awards

    Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Wagner Marseille was this year’s recipient of the prestigious President’s Award for his dynamic work as leader of Cheltenham School District. The award is bestowed upon an individual who has shown generous and devoted service to the community and unwavering support of the tenets promulgated by the NAACP to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons, and to eliminate racial hatred and racial, ethnic religious and sexual orientation discrimination.

    Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Wagner Marseille, and other members of the School Superintendents Association met with senators and congressman in D.C. on JUly 11th to advocate for public education.

  • CHS STUDENT, JESSICA KNAPP, WINS PRESTIGIOUS EMPEROR SCIENCE AWARD

    Congratulations to CHS student, Jessica Knapp, for for being an Emperor Science Award recipient. Jessica was chosen from a pool of 100 10th and 11th grade students from across the country who are interested in pursuing a career in science and cancer research. As a winner, Jessica will conduct research with a mentor, receive a free Google Chrome computer, and earn a $1,500 stipend.
