  • Cheltenham Elementary Watch D.O.G.S. Program Kickoff

    Cheltenham Elementary kicked off it's Watch D.O.G.S. program with a Dad's Pizza Night. This event serves as a kickoff to our program for the year. It is an opportunity for fathers and father-figures to come and socialize with other fathers, learn about the program, and learn how they can participate and make a positive impact in our school.   • Un Columbus Day

    In fourteen hundred and ninety-two, Columbus sailed the ocean blue.. This is the beginning of a very familiar poem used to help teach the history of Columbus Day. Un Columbus Day refers to the shift towards rethinking our teaching about myths in U.S. History. On Thursday afternoon, Cheltenham School District, along with Abington Friends School, Friends Council on Education, and The Race Institute for K-12 Educators, hosted a workshop called “A Symposium about Teaching Columbus Day and Thanksgiving”....
